Mubarak: the Angry Voice Silencer

Posted in
thoushallnotblogAnother Egyptian blogger, Dia'Eddine Ghad, As'sawt al-Ghadib (the Angry Voice), has been arrested by Mubarak's police; the third in less than a week in an apparent all out war waged against dissent in Egypt. Bloggers have obviously become a major target for the Egyptian police state.

Dia'Eddine has been publishing posts supporting Palestinian resistance throughout the Israeli onslaught on Gaza, and has been openly critical of the Egyptian government's attidude during the massacre.

Please spread the news around, make noise like you did for Philip  -whose website has been blocked today by the way!-, so that Dia' Eddine doesn't disappear in the dark maze of Egyptian prisons. And if you can, join the marchers tomorrow in Paris who will be marching from Place Denfert Rochereau to the Egyptian embassy in protest against the Mubarak regime's shameful attitude.
